FAQs

Do you accept my insurance?

We are in network with most major insurance carriers. Coverage is determined by your individual plan details and we are happy to verify insurance benefits. Insurance is expensive and we understand that you want to use your insurance benefits, but we do not base your treatment recommendations on your insurance coverage. There are discounts and payment plans available for services that are not covered by insurance and for patients who do not have insurance coverage.

Do you have to "crack" my back/neck?

Chiropractic means to straighten by hand. Manual adjustments are my preferred method for treatment, but I also offer low-force instrument adjustments to patients who prefer to be adjusted without hearing the adjustment take place. I use a combination of techniques in the office that include Diversified and Gonstead manual adjustments, Thompson drop table adjustments, Chiropractic Biophysics, activator methods, impulse adjuster and others. All adjustments are performed with precision, targeting the specific joints that need to be adjusted and moving them in the correct direction.

Do I have to keep coming back?

It took time for your problem to develop, it will take time to fix it. Repetition is one of the keys to success with chiropractic treatment. Most of our patients opt to continue with maintenance treatments after reaching a pain-free state to prevent future problems and to enjoy better health and vitality by taking care of their spine and nervous system. You wouldn’t stop brushing your teeth because you don’t have any cavities, right? Brushing prevented the cavities. Regular chiropractic adjustments prevent pain and other problems.

How much is an adjustment?

Most of our patients begin their care with insurance benefits and fees are determined by insurance coverage. Some patients do not have insurance, so we have very reasonable cash rates and treatment plans include payment options. All recommendations are made based on what treatment is clinically warranted and never on insurance coverage. The first step in determining what chiropractic can do for you is a new patient exam. The fee for exam and x-rays is $99 and may be partially covered by insurance.

Do adjustments hurt?

For the vast majority of patients, no. An exceedingly small percentage of patients report a very brief experience of discomfort during the adjustment that does not last more than a split second.
